LRMA CARETAKERS POSITION VACANT
The Caretakers position at the Lightning Ridge Mining Centre is available. This is a live in position that would suit a couple. Duties include, but are not limited to, general maintenance of the building and grounds of the Mining Centre, cleaning the LRMA office and common areas and some clerical work in the LRMA office.

HUDSON PEAR COMMUNITY INFORMATION WORKSHOP
A Hudson Pear Community Information Workshop, hosted by Local Land Services North West, will be held at the Lightning Ridge Bowling Club on Thursday 8 March 2018 or at the Grawin Club in the Scrub on Wednesday 7 March 2018.
Both workshops commence at 10am and will end around 3pm. Lunch will be provided.
NSW DPI and QDAF will be giving a presentation of the Hudson Pear bio control program and discuss the release strategy of the various biotypes that will assist with the Hudson Pear Control program.
THREE MONTH OPBs
The Division of Resources & Geoscience has released the list of three month Opal Prospecting Blocks for 2018. The list is attached.
